Scottish Equestrian Vaulting Team
The Scottish Equestrian Vaulting Team is made up of talented youngsters who perform gymnastics and dance on the back of a cantering horse. SEVT was first started in 1996 with the aim of putting together a team that was capable of competing internationally. This was achevied in 1997 when the first team was selected to represent Great Britain at the 1997 European Championships. Since then the team have continued to acheive great things and have been selected for all major Championships. |
The Team
The team is open to vaulters from each of the different groups across Scotland. These include Lauderdale, Wee County, Eagles and Pegasus.

FINAL SELECTION
SEVT are delighted to announce that the Senior Team have been have been selected to represent Great Britain at this Years World Equestrian Games in Aachen. The team will vault on Wh Bentley lunged by John Eccles. The Junior Team have also been selected and they will go to the Junior Europeans in Munich in July. They will vault on Baroque lunged by Rebecca Morgan. Also Joanne Eccles who is and active member of the team and wee county vaulting Group has been selected in the Female individual class, she will vault on WH Bentley Lunged by her Dad John Eccles. |
Acheivements
Teams have represented Great Britain at 4 European Championships, 2 World Championships and 2 World Equestrain Games. The Advanced Team has been British Advanced Team Champions since 1999. 3 individuals have also come through the Team to be Champions in the Individual class Hannah Macgillivary, Philip Beasley, Joanne Eccles and most recentley Ross Foreman. Congratulations to Joanne Eccles who has just retuned from Italy. She won the Female individual class on WH Bentley lunged by John Eccles. Younger sister Hannah Eccles also finished 7th. The girls also won the first ever Pas de Deux class again on WH Bentley.

The team have also taken part in many major demonstrations. They were part of the "Dream Scene" at All the Queens Horses 2002. The Finale at the Olympia Christmas Horse Show 2003 and performed at Blair Castle International Horse Trials 2004 and 2005. They are also performing at Burgie horse Trials 2006.
